Comiskey Twilight 36" x 15 1/2" Limited Edition Artist Print by Andy Jurinko - $ 450.00 It's August 16, 1988, a mid-summer night's dream on the South Side of Chicago -- the White Sox playing a ballgame in now-gone Comiskey Park. You can see it all from your seat in the upper deck, almost directly behind home plate, and you're watching catcher Carlton Fisk guide righthander Jack McDowell through the second inning of his major league debut against the Blue Jays. Note: The "Comiskey Twilight Diptych" original is a two-panel painting ("diptych"), each panel measuring 56 by 72 inches.
Comiskey Park Continuum 36" x 14 1/2" Limited Edition Artist Print by Bill Purdom - $ 400.00 It's July 11, 1990, "Turn Back the Clock Day," on Chicago's South Side. The White Sox are wearing dazzling replicas of their 1917 World Champion uniforms in a game against the Brewers. From your field level seat behind the third base dugout you can see Ron Kittle taking a mighty cut at a Ron Robinson pitch as Ivan Calderon inches down the third base line. That's Carlton Fisk in the on-deck circle. Your view sweeps from the stands in left-center field, past the scoreboard in center (a hand-operated model is in use today) all the way to the first-base dugout. Look above the roof on the first base side and you'll see a crane being used in the construction of the new Comiskey. And, yes, Shoeless Joe Jackson and Bill Veeck are the gentlemen mingling in the crowd to your left!
